Thanks! I have an exhaust for it that will be going in the next few weeks...I love how it sounds open downpipe, and it's not too bad to drive, but I know it's really ******* loud outside the car and I'd rather not get pulled over by every other cop that sees me. The wastgate dump just fuggin screams when it opens, too
750 miles on the car so far, been pulled over once. I saw him parked and clutched in and idled past...and he still pulled out behind me...hahaha. He came to the window and said "I didn't look, but I'm going to guess there's no mufflers at all on this thing?" I explained I was working on it and had an exhaust, the interior was all ripped up so he bought it. Warning.
Win.
The other cops I've seen, I've actually turned off the car and coasted past...lol

Yes, that is on a .9 bar wastegate spring only.
It's ridiculous rich. It bogs too hard in first to get past 4500, but 2nd 3rd and 4th hit HARD. The lag is kinda bad but when the power comes on it hits like a freight train!
It needs a lot more tuning. We spent too much time chasing down Haltech gremlins on the dyno and didn't have enough time to get the WOT map tuned great. Heading back in the spring after I get the haltech repaired and the intercooler piping tweaked...then we'll see how the weak S4 rear iron likes 400+whp

Took the car down to Deals Gap/Tail of the Dragon this last weekend. Beat the absolute **** out of the car all weekend and it took it like a champ Ran fantastic.
And finally, here's a video of my buddy in a WRX chasing me down the hellbender.

My only complaint with the car all weekend was that the back end was weird-twitchy. You can see the back end kick out and almost put me into the wall at about 1:15. Car has racingbeat springs and sway bars...I'm thinking of ditching the rear sway bar and giving that a shot.

Nice build. Very nice. As with alot of builds (including my own) i do see potential problems.
1. That twitch your car has. Do you still have working dtss? That system scared the **** out of me multiple times and i'm nowhere NEAR your power levels. Hell, my car was probably pushing 90whp or less before i started working on it. Very, very unpredictable at the limit.
2. Your CAS harness. I've done some digging on the e6k (since it's fairly inexpensive and a great unit). The cas wiring is VERY prone to noise, regardless of ems but more people are **** about it running haltech for some reason. I would look into sheilding and possible double shielding the entire thing and see what that does for ya. After all you've invested, a bit more work and a bit more money isn't gonna hurt, even if you dont notice any change datalogging or on the dyno.

The DTSS was one of the first things I removed. Very good thought, but I have delrin bushings pressed in back there.
I'm aware of the CAS harness problems, I had a little trouble getting a clean signal but it appears I've got it dialed in perfectly now. The haltech CAS harness is already single-shielded, it grounds at the ECU. Just gotta be careful where you run it and make sure to cross all wires at 90* angles, etc. The entire harness comes out the stock location except for the CAS harness, that comes out behind the brake booster.

I don't know if the car has stock rear bump-stops or none at all. Because of where the car was when it twitched, I'm kinda really doubting the bump stops are a problem, but I can't overlook anything.
Still going to try pulling the sway bar and see how she runs.
