Where did you pull the box from? Driver side, passenger side, interior or exterior?

Little more info, maybe someone else will know it on sight, but I don't recognize it right now....

the box is located under the glove compartment....it was just sitting there on the floor. The two other plugs, obviously, were not plugged to anything.

I think that the metal box is the stock alarm brain. The small brown plug is a light bulb socket that goes to the back of the glove box, and I think that the larger plug is for the stero amp & speaker (a black plastic box behind the glove box). You can compare the wire colors to the wire diagram in the back of the factory service manual to be sure what the plugs go to.

Hah, my 10th AE has chipping paint in the bottom part of the door too. Not sure about the box though.
