http://www.snyper.net/RX-7/Info/injector.htm

The part number is embossed on the side of the injectors. The 195500-xxxx number.

Hard to read, but: http://www.antimpower.com/injectorfyi/index.htm

Again, screw colors, read numbers: http://www.robietherobot.com/storm/...jectorguide.htm

Sorry Hailers, that won't work. Note that 86-7 low impedance NA injectors are PN 1350, and 88 high impedance are, also, PN 1350. Same for turbo...they are both PN 1370. So one cannot distinguish 86-7 and 88 injectors by part number. Only turbo versus nonturbo.

Hailers, bottom link does not work.

NZ, check the top and middle links hailers posted. They, too, lists the 88 injectors as "purple". Guess I am not colorblind after all.

It's exactly the same info as yours. One of them even credits you! It's far more likely that they copied the same info as everyone else rather than actually eyeballing all the different injectors and making odd decisions on colours. Half the info on the Net is cut-and-pasted with little or no research.

FWIW, I showed the above photos to two people (seperately). Without any prompting from me they both decided the injectors in the first photo were orange (left) and red (right). Both thought I was nuts when I asked if any of them looked purple. Take that however you want, but I'm pretty confident I'm not colourblind...

I wish I had the original message, but I just copied and pasted the good part and discarded the rest when I originally saved the file.

What I meant by common knowledge is that anyone could just look up the Denso part numbers for themselves. For example, at:

Yes, but as demonstrated above, the part number doesnt distinctly identify the injector excluding all others. It just narrows the possibilities down. There are those among us who do not know how, or do not want to, check impedance to narrow the field further.

Ok, your right. Use the part numbers and a ohm meter OR the part numbers and the keying of the injector. The keying is mentioned in one of the urls.

This site: http://www.robietherobot.com/storm/...jectorguide.htm
you have to deleted the last part of it. Everything after storm. When you get there you have to click on STORM then RESEARCH and peck around. It's just a site I picked by doing a Google search. I just picked the first three I came across that looked informative. This one I should have left out. It just shows colors and cc's. So it should have been http://www.robietherobot.com/storm and just snoop around on his site for the injectors.
