Someone painted your car Cayman Green. I had an escort that was painted that color. And places like Maaco and Earl Sheib are masters of that shade.

Nice vert. Mine is 1990, n/a, and mine also leaked a little in the front. What I did to solve the problem was, on the latches there is a jam nut on it. I backed off the jam nut, spun the threaded hook, loop, whatever its called, in, and closed. Because of its age, I have to push up on top, just a little, when bringing to final position. But making the loops a little tighter has solved the leak problem for me. Hope this info helps.

i recently purchased my vert as well mine is a 1990 and it has the leather seats with the headrest speakers... let me tell you that your not missing out on much as in my opinon the whole speaker system blows anyway and i plan on a pretty sweet install -- but that is another story entirely....

3000 isnt too bad of a price but consider this i got mine for 3250 -- aftermarket wheels 81,000 miles, everything working, minor dent on rear passanger side quartet so we paid similar prices that i good to know. -- anyway good luck with your car

Turbo II Hey guys, we should start a "show us you 'vert" thread
how about a whole new forum area in the 2nd gen just for vert's -- i think it is a worthy cause....

I've also had problems with a little bit of leakage. I'm in AZ though, so it really doesn't rain enough to bother me. As far as the headrest speakers, there's a wire running underneath the seats. Of course if new seats have been installed, they may or may not be there. Stock seats look good in it. Mine were repholstered before i bought mine. The headrest speakers though, both sides are blown. I think i turned 'em on once, lol.

RuFF! lol .. anyway.. sounds like a good idea.. I'm learning more and more about this vert every day. Cayman green. If its a macco paint job, its the best i've seen from one. I had a 93 probe gt and the macco paint job on it was horrible. I havn't found any real flaws in the paint, as well as what looks like metal flakes in the paint. I'll try adjusting the latches tomorrow mumbo.. PS. anyone watch the WEBN fireworks today? awesome show!!
