My $700 1991 Vert
Ok, so a lot of you have asked for some photos of the vert I bought, so I finally remembered my digital camera today and took some.
Uhh... of course this is Michigan, so half the car is probably covered in salt!

Yeah, it needs a fender, the top has some tears, and I am missing one BBS center cap.
Also, I have a problem with the electrical system where all the warning lights are on for 20 mins of driving, then they go off and the clock and radio come on for 10 mins, then it switches back and forth every 10 mins. I think I'm going to try the FD alternator mod to see if that fixes it.

you got that for $700 - OH MY GOD that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cheap !!
that in the UK would cost you a min of £1500 easily (Pounds NOT dollars ! )
in fact a 1991 can cost up to £2,500 - £4000
a 1992 rx7 T11 convertable went in the local garage for £3495 and it was sold in a few days - the guy said he could have sold it 20 times over
i cant believe how cheap your cars are
i wonder how much to ship one to the UK ??

Lucky bastards (no offense)...I just looked at one for $1700 but has tranny problems and it's A/T (can't stand that). Needless to say I'm gonna look elsewhere.

Sweet. Mine was $3000 with sideswipe damage & worn seats... but I had a new top (big plus).
I bet your license plate frame is rusted through like mine is. Luckily that's easy to replace.

Thanks everyone, I just have to figure out the ghost in my electrical system. Autozone says the battery/alternator are fine, but I can't trust a guy who looks under the hood and says, "How many cylinders is that engine?" Then he tries to rev the gas by hand and goes, "I can't get your car to idle."
The license plate frame in the back is good, I haven't taken the one in the front off yet. Michigan doesn't require a front plate, but I got the car off a guy in Chi-town. I did buy my vanity plate for it though, "7THHEVN"

Hey,
I will be coming and going from the Tri-City area over the next couple months.
I would be glad to swing by and take a look at it with you. Not saying I am anything close to an expert, but I had to deal with some "demons" myself.
But, an exorcist for these demons costs a fortune! So, I had to get the "Little Bastard Do-It-Yourself Exorcist Kit" for mine!

In fact,
I will be going down to Monroe (99% positive that is) on February 8th and may be driving back through that area on my way up to Bay City.
I would have some time that Saturday.
Just PM me if you want....
