My $250 Rx7: Update, and engine option questions

Well, I put in the new plugs, the old plugs were just god awful corroded, I then matched them up with the housing markings to make sure they all went to the right rotor and coil pack etc. . . I tried cranking it over a few more times, no luck, the rotor's spin, spark is getting were it needs to go, and fuel as well. Then engine could still be flooded, but I doubt it. I've tried some atf, no luck. I am guessing the apex seals are bad, they did spend a good 6 months on a incline with gas in there

[ NGK plugs, some pepboys wires, gas tank has fresh 93 octane and some b12, 86 Rx7 n/a ]

I am going to compression test the engine next, if it turns out bad what should I do? I've seen the turbo kits off fc3s.org, were you can purchase the entire block with turbo etc. I don't mind spending the price they have listed, but what else is involved? bigger fuel pump, computer/wiring harness, transmission, etc. . . I already have enough project cars as is so I think I am going to go ahead and blow the 302 conversion out the window, besides, I want to test out the weight ratio first

Also, fc3s.org seems to be out of stock on those engines, who else sells them at a good deal?

I'd take it off for $200, just because I'm a nice guy.
Not!!!! I actually need it for parts.

hey, jsut have a suggestion (note: I do NOT know your history with this car)... have you tried pulling/pushing it off another car? my 200 dollar toy did the thing where it acted really flooded, i changed the plugs, the wires, ATF, fun stuffs, but i couldn't get it started. I roped it to the van, it started up in less than 5 seconds of being pulled (the ol "pop the clutch" thing)... just a suggestion

Turbo conversions:

As for getting this one started, you need a gallon jug of tranny fluid and a hand oil pump available at autozone. Put he pump in the ATF jug. Find the row of 3 vacuum hoses on the front/top of the intake manifold below INJECTION 13B. Pull off the bigger one, on top, adn pump a generous amount of atf slowly down the hose, then replace it. Start car and watch smoke

ATF will start even a badly blown engine, provided you put in enough. IN this case, there is no "too much" atf to put in...

Oh, and if it does turn out to need an engine, I can build you one fairly cheap, around $1000.

When I purchased my $600.00 87 na, (Damn did I get ripped off), it had been sitting for 4 years. After doing what you had, plus some pricey parts that I didn't really need, I removed the intake and shot starting fluid in while my friend cranked. After a couple minutes firing on that, I reassembled the intake and it chugged along on it's own.
Now, some ATF and really good gas later, it runs like a scalded hound.

How many miles do you think this car is going to last? Its already got 149k miles on what I believe is the original engine. It does have Rotary Performance ( They are in the next city over ) sticker under the hood.

My TII wouldn't start when I first got it. A pull behind a BroncoII and a few pops of the clutch got it going. Sometimes the starter doesn't turn the motor fast enough when it's severely flooded along with a quart of ATF in the chambers.

Doing the tow pull start sounds really really dangerous. How are you guys doing it? I have a 20ft tow strap that I can use.

I pulled mine around a parking lot until it fired. I just left my car in second gear and kept going around until it would run on it's own. Give the driver of the tow vehicle a honk to let him know you got it going.
