Must my TII have an Initial Set Coupler?
Do you have to have the initial set coupler hooked up for the engine to run right? I have a JDM S4 with the emmisions system removed.
You don't understand the Intitial Set Coupler. It is NOT an emissions device.
Basically all it does when it is jumpered, is put the ECU into a set duty cycle for the BAC so when you make adjustments to the idle, the ECU the BAC won't react to those adjustments and drive you crazy trying to set the idle.
You remove the jumper in the Iniial Set Coupler when finished adjusting the idle. If you don't the car won't run right.
Since you don't have the plug called the Initial Set Coupler, then it's a mute issue with you. You probably asked because you've some problem and are thinking that that might be the culprit. Nope. Ain't.
