I had to replace the computer since I got alot of water in the car and the computer got wet. I installed a computer from a salvage yard and the car starts ok and idles ok but once driven above about 15MPH it misses and the check engine light comes on. If I shut it off and restart it seems ok until I drive it over 15MPH. Could the computer be the wrong one? Has anyone experienced this same problem? Any help is appreciated.

 

If the CEL is flashing then the ECU has stored an error code that should tell you what the problem is. Read this to find out how to retrieve and interpret the code.
