muffler choice... opinion/experience needed!

what would you go with for a custom exhaust set up.

im converting my stock y pipe to a single outlet exhaust utilizing 2.25" diameter tubing from the cat back. im currently split as to go with a magnaflow tip, or use a n1 style tip with resonator.

which would give better tone w/o being too loud?

Both will be ricer loud. Dual is the only quiet solution. I suggest Racing Beat Dual cat-back. Nothing else will give you the same quality and sound. Second choice is Borla Dual cat-back. Affordable but not shitty like magnaflow or N1's

yeah everyone always says racing beat..im not a fan of it myself..sounds good yes but i dont think it looks that good..i like the rotary performance dual cat back..single with a fart can is gonna be loud..so as stated above stick with duals..just my .02

my debate is to keep it like the stock system with only muffler, or to add a resonator. im definitly DEFINITLY ditching the not-quite-dual setup. but im guessing the logic here is that twice the muffler=half the noise right? so odds are ill go with resonator+muffler anyways. local shop has some good magnaflow cylinders. with my honda i learned that adding resonator will lower sound level greatly.
