HKS is the best in my book!

Fist is a 3in carbonfiber HKS muffler. This was on my s4 na. No cat, and a RB header. Super quiet compared to corksport.

Next is the dual HKS Hi-Power. Turbo II with 3in downpipe, 3in test pipe and the HKS. Eclipse had a dumped exhaust pointed towards my rx7. So the hks isnt the loud thing lol. You can actually talk in my rx7.

The greddy i have on now is loud. No deep tone at all. Low rpm, city driving it sounds like a civic. Magnaflow sounded better. Today im going to try the hks hi-power.

I have a magnaflow canister on mine. 2.5" inlet with a 4" tip. The car is straight piped and it sounds really good. Has a really deep tone at idle and isn't too loud or ricey.

Now with the hks muffler the ricer sound is gone. Nice deep tone. sounds better then magnaflow .

I looked inside greddy muffler and didnt see any fibers or metal mesh, but i did see it in the hks. Wonder if greddy using something else then metal fibers for dampening material.

Ok, lemme rephrase. When I was NA (gutted cat, unknown headers) with just the Hiper cat back, it was super loud, but had a pretty decent sound to it (its better with a turbo). Its just alot to live with on a daily'd NA.

Racing beat all day, I had racing beat on my n/a and it sounded really nice... I liked the apex n1 but it was too loud all the time. The racing beat was loud only when I hit the gas. I got racing beat now on my T2, and I love it...

+2 for racing beat. Had it on my 1st gen and have it on my 2nd gen. amazing quality and great sound (a little pricey - but it will last...)
