Msd Ignition Help Please!!!

I have a MSD 6BTM and I hooked up the leading and trailing coils like the MSD manual says but have no tachometer . Any help would be appreciated. Also should I have hooked up the leading and trailings to the same unit? I know the leading and trailing are at 5 and 20 degrees respectively. All I hooked up was th hot and ground to the coils.

umm... you can only hook it up to the leading coil. put your trailing back to stock. it's probably not even firing right now since that's where the tach signal comes from.

Yeah hook it up to the leading coil pack only. You will need two additional msd boxes if you want to do the trailing coil packs.
