you don't want the "L" it won't help you at all, might even **** things up. you would only be rev limiting the leading coils from firing. the engine revs would keep going up from the trailing still firing, but now only 2 firing with weird timming...

save your money and get the a, or a crane. I have no problems with my crane...

I have an msd 6AL, and it works well, it didn't for a while because the wires were arching. So if you install your msd, and it runs really bad, re insulate your wires.... or be frustrated for a long time...

I run the 6AL and love it. I like the rev limiter. It makes me nervous to run over 8 grand. Not haveine a rev limiter on the trailing is no big deal. you can drive the car jujst fine with out the trailing coils hooked up.

Haha. "will"? It's past tense now. They're on my car now. =)
And yes, they sure aren't cheap...

I'm running a Dual stage boost setup.

Some guy selling me a MSD 6AL and a SS blaster coil for 185. He says that the blaster coil amplifies your existing coils. Is this tru? theres nothing saying that on the msd site.

You can't use the Blaster SS coil unless you have two of them.

Do you need to use only one on a FD? he said that he took it off his FD and that he only used one SS coil, and on a FC its the same. eh, he must be bull shitting.
