i run the mallory 6al. it is cheaper, installs the same, and is digital instead of analog.

The leading coils fire together, so one 6a or 6al will work.
If you want to punch up the trailing coils also, you will need two more.

that is like the Crane Hi-6 and the MSD 6a..wiring is the same..you don't have to hook all of them up though(some wires are not Used)..Look into www.fc3s.org and hit: HOw To's / Engine / Electrical /crane Hi-6 ..it will show you the hook up for the Crane HI-6.You will have a pretty good idea on how it Goes in.It's Not really a "performance Mod" that you FEEL.but you will notice a bit of Gas mileage Gain.
