I've been using an MSD 6A for about a year now, and many others have been using them, or similiar products for years without problems. I've heard of FD owners switching to FC coils because they're better (more durable with CDI's and so on).

On another note, you'll need 3 if you want to do both leading and trailing plugs, but most people only do the leadings, as it'll be 1/3 the price (you only need one) and doing the trailing plugs gives little advantage. If you use just one, then don't bother with the 6AL, just get the 6A, it's cheaper, and the rev limiter won't be effective, as the trailing plugs will still be firing fully beyond the rev limit. The car has a built in rev limiter anyway.
