Msd Coils Not Sparking W/microtech Please Help!

Hi i have a microtech lt10s with x4 box..... i have the coils wired the correct way because about a week ago when the car was still not completed we started the engine. but for reasons unkown to me the coils are getting power to the positive side of the coils and the negative side. i know its not the wiring because i have power only running to the positives on the coils. and the negatives are connected to the X4 box..

please someone help me i really cant figure this out!

thank you,

Vic

..just Thinking, in Order to Run something Off another thing (for instance running your coils Off an MSD6a)..you have to have the Coils hooked directly up from the box... ignition power goes into the box,box puts power into the coils,Power out of the coils to engine. You should get someone that Knows wiring,,you are screwing with about 2k of Ignition there, and you haven't a clue(sorry no offence)..get a wiring Diagram.

It's been a while since I hooked up my crane coils with my microtech and x4 box but it sounds like you have them connected right. You have 12volt switching to the possitives (pink wire on microtech I believe) and then the yellow and yellow/black to the leading coils and the orange and orange/black to the trailing coils. How do you know you are getting juice to the ground wires? Also you may want to see if for some reason your engine body has a good ground. Also for the x4 sake make sure you ground that thing on the engine not on the body. Also you may want to try asking this in the microtech section.
