Stumped

OK so here it is. 87 GXL. Changed the oil last week. Couldn't for the life of me get the oil filter off, but I had to move her out of the garage anyway. Figured I would try it the next day and swap the filter then. So I started it up and moved it to the parking spot in my driveway. 2 days later I tried to get the filter off and was successfull. Put the new one on and then tried to start it up......no go, just sits and cranks and won't turn over. So I let it sit and tried it again every day this week. Still won't turn over? I have never...ever had a problem getting it started before. Anyone have any ideas?

flooded maybe. do the unflood procedure.
Its here on the forum in million places. Just do a search.

I'll give u the watered down version of it:
1. pull EGI fuse from under hood. (most inner fuse)
2. floor pedal, and crank for 8-10 sec.
3. replace EGI fuse
4. try to start, not touching gas pedal.

but do a search for more comprehensive instructions

That's a flooded engine - you made the mistake of moving the car a short distance when it was cold and shutting it off. Yet another reason why the fuel pump switch is handy - you can kill the fuel pump, shut off the car cold, and it won't flood.

I'm changing the subject of this post - you really need to use a more descriptive subject than "stumped".

Just tow or push start the car (with a truck or another car). Get it moving so its about 4-5000rpm in first gear. It should start.
