mounting the racing beat mid-pipe/silencer???
I bought this and it is connected to the racing beat downpipe and stock turbo.

As you can see it has a mounting bracket. Does this attach to any stock location? If I mount it with the bracket facing the passenger side of the car, there is nothing near it. If I mount it with the bracket facing the middle of the car, it is CLOSE to a bracket on the trans mount. Where do I attach this too? Is it generic and I'm supposed to make something?

Did you consider mounting it facing the other direction? As in the exhaust would flow the other way through it. I wouldn't think RB would put a generic bracket on a piece for a specific model (then again you never know, or maybe even you mistakenly got the wrong part *shrugs*), are you sure this is made for a particular model?

I bought the earlier Turbo II model. There is nothing else to buy except the 3inch. I checked it the other way... again not even close to a mounting point.

It's all the 2.5". I think I figured it out. I may need one special rubber mounting thingy based on this diagram:
