Please use the search function found in the upper right hand corner of the page.

This has been covered many times.

While some people have been able to get okay sound from the bin/rear seat area it is generally a poor area for subs in the FC and FD. You will never get great sound from speakers mounted in that area.

Follow the cardomain link in my sig to see the proper way to use those bins as boxes. They are fiberglass lined inside.

This looks good, but how does it sound in reality? I've always found having subs in the back or rear corners sounded best in a hatchback. With a little tuning via a 7 band EQ, bass & input gain on the amps, and adjustable bass types (q-bass, hd-bass, etc..) you can get nice & tight sound which is great for jazz & new rock/alternative.
