Motors, motors, motors

Anyway, I'm sick of waiting for the guy to bring my turbo motor. As of now I found another s4 NA motor for my car, for 300 bucks CDN. Its got 160 000 kms on it which is fairly low for what I usually find. According to the guy in ran, but blew a bit of smoke. Its still in the car, so I'll probably get him to start it in front of me. I need something to last till I have enough money to rebuild and port the turbo motor which should arrive shortly.

I was wondering, what milages have you people got your motors to last to? I plan on giving it a full tune up, I already have new plugs and wires and a cone filter, I plan on running Royal Purple, Redline MT-90 and some Redline Gear Oil. Other than that what should I try to build a bit of compression? Just some Oil or MMO? I know about ATF and I tried it in one motor which I thought was blown (people said it had stuck seals), so I tried it cause I had nothing to lose and I don't think it did anything I haven't tested compression.

Yeah, so my question is on average what have you NA owners got your motors up to? I wanna drive the car for awile, until I get my turbo motor, rebuild and port it.

Oh and what else should I replace for a full tune up?
(I've got new plugs, new wires, new cone filter)

I had 280k km's on my 86 rx7, she's still going strong for someone else to this day. I had to get rid of her, because I thought the apex seals were gone but it turned out it was the coil packs.

Lol I would take it but I'm pretty far from you, I'd rather not pay shipping for something that big.
