well for starters your gonna need ecu, boost guage, harness,dp,air flow meter, knock box,and im not sure what else but theres more.and if its a t2 u are gonna need to change your trans rearend and driveshaft (if u want to put donw lots of power) and secondly the jdm motors are so cheap becasue theya re 90% shitty and need to be rebuilt anyway u can get a s4 t2 motor for $1500 or less here why worry about overseas shipping and that gets u a built good to go motor

ive already got the trans driveshart and rearend full exhaust all i need is a motor with ecu and wiring harness. i didn't want to get a jdm thats why i wanted to know if an s4 motor and wiring harness would work in an s5 because i have an s5 andi can get a running s4 motor with ecu and wiring harness for a good deal

Question..is the New engine going to Be a TII?..is the old Engine,IN the car right now,an N/A?..either Way it just isn't a walk in the Park...S4 Guys can use the S5 Keg and dress it up to Run as an S4.(N/A)..if the car is S4 and you put in an S5 TII,.then the best thing IMHO is to go to a standalone Fuel system. The wiring Will Make you Pull your hair out,If you remain Stock.
