Motor won't run below 1500 rpm's

Hey guys, I have an 87 TII and the motor won't stay running below 1500 rpms. I have checked just about everything in the book, checked my vacuum lines, done the self diagnosis and come up with nothing. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. One more thing...do any of you know how many ohms your variable resistor is reading (the one by the atmospheric pressure sensor). Thanks for the help

Ryan

Damn, I thought this one was gonna be easy. When I saw your title the first thing that popped into my head was "vacuum hose". I had the same problem after I did my TB mod and it turned out that I had forgot the big brake booster vacuum hose on the back of the intake.

well man... i've been battling this for a while now. what i am doing right now is taking the entire intake off (upper) and removing my rats nest. the rats nest isnt doing anything right now because i have no cat, so i decided to dump the rest of the emissions... there are ALOT of vacuum hoses on that rast nest contraption. my advice to you, my friend, is take off the upper intake manifold and check every motherfucking vacuum line on that rats nest (pending that you havent already) i really think that your problem lies here.

I've already got the upper intake manifold off and have checked everything over and it seems fine...Thanks though. Right now I'm trying to get a new atmospheric pressure sensor cuz mine doesn't seem to be reading right. Hopefully a new one will help.
