Motor Swap FC to FD? Possible

Im new to this site. THe end on December im getting a 2nd gen rx7, i wanna do a 3rd gen motor n trans swap. jus wonder if its possible and does anyone on this site have any pics they can show/lead me to see how it looks. It there any custom parts i need or fabrications i need to do?

Jus Gimmie a list of what needs to be done and tell me if its worth it.
1. 13btt motor w/ ecu, 5psd trans

I thought the short answer was: yes
Long answer is... you need alot of money... and personaly I think the motor is garbage anyways (not really but it has more problems than it's worth)... and don't keep the twins... better money spent is a 20b bridgeported

OK. Now thats solved. What rx7's carry S4 and S5 motors and which one is better.. Really im jus wanna run high 12s or less on the track. So gimmie some ideas cause im new to this dealing with an rx7. Im jus trying to put the old skools back on the map. whats up with the internals, i know i might be buying a car with high miles on it but i want it running like its new though.

s4 engines have lower compression and heavier rotors and the TWINSCROLL turbos are on them read the FAQ it has **** loads of intel...the S5 has highercompression and the turbo is a TAD bit more efficient....the 13BRE is the bad *** engine or the 20b if u have money....20b still take some work though.....some people say ditch the stock twins i hear some people say stock twins rock the house....well blah read the FAQ u will have more informaitons!

if you really just want to go fast in a straight line for cheap why not look into a V8 swap?

yea lol or just get a datsun 510 and throw a v8 in that! then u really are going fast and strait if u wanna drag id say there are better choices...but meh to each his own!

You really need to ask less questions and read more.
Start with the stickies and pay particular attention to the one labeled FAQ for FC.
Then do efficient searches to get the rest of your answers.
