Motor Swap?

My motor was making a wierd rattling sound at idle...... I found a huge 3" bolt that somehow fell into the rotorhousing.

? Is there any way a 3" bolt could find it's way into the rotor housing through the ports?? I don't know if it could make the bend in the ports. + the bolt doesn't even look bent or damaged.
