motor stand

motor stand

I finally got my motor out and I need to put it on the engine stand I just bought, how do you put a rotary on a motor stand. I dont want to put it on the stand and it fall. Please help

You will need an adapter. Pineapple sells them. Check their website.

If it's a "standard" engine stand, and you are only putting it on to bolt on things like the LIM & UIM, then you can turn it sideways, and bolt it onto the drivers side of the front housing. All you need is at least 3 bolts (or 2 nuts and a bolt) and it'll stay planted. HOWEVER, it's difficult to spin the engine. (But if you're just bolting on the upper-end, you have no problems)

So, you MIGHT need an adapter... but because you bought a motor... probably not.
