my motors like brand new. the 3mm seals a perfect. everything is still good perfectly fine my. i didn't force it around. i just took it apart. i order my new seals about 15min ago. tommaorw ordering some pineapple large streetport templates if i can figure out the miss match of non turbo and turbo stuff. I figured might as well so it while the engines apart. I personally would never open an engine and not put new seals in it. it will be up and running in no time! there was **** tons of metal in it. would have FUCKED my housings up!!! everythings good i can take some pictures i guess and post them up. i wouldn't have no pictures of the metal though cuz i cleaned it all out. if i remember the only thing i noticed was on the middle of one housing were it curvs in there was like tar built up on it some black stuff carbon idk ill have to look at it

Since he spent upwards of $5g on the engine, he said he'd definitely NOT be taking it apart again... Just like you. He said **** it and put it in the car. He thought if he just cranked it with the turbo off and it should drop out the manifold.

After he trashed the engine, he parted out the car and junked the chassis and bought a RB26 swapped 240SX because FC's are unreliable pieces of ****.

I have the rotor and housing for proof.

My god is that horrible but funny as hell.

Good to hear the OP took the block apart and cleaned it up though.

He can't be that dumb if he actually decided to pull it apart and fix it.

So when I was replacing the motor in my 7 I had let it sit over a winter while I worked on the engine bay and replacing all the hoses and everything that I could with brand new parts. One day I put the oil pan on and hoisted it up to install it... and when I turned it over a little bit it was stuck. So I was like WTF I turned it over a little more and it wouldn't move, I gave it a little force nothing crazy and I heard a crunching sound inside the oil pump. I went backwards with it and out came little piece of a black walnut a f'n mouse had stored in my engine for winter. Grand total there were close to 3 hole nuts in there and a bunch of little pieces of one. I got em all out, well I hope I did since the motor now has about 350 miles on it and I haven't had a problem. I guess I will find out when I do an oil change in 150 miles and either find nutty oil or don't find nutty oil. I still have the whole nuts I pulled out, I keep them in my glove box as a reminder of my 5 year journey in which I spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours rebuilding, replacing, and hoping it was all worth driving an RX7.
