Motor Out ... even worth it?

So i dug into the power plant the other night, and the Apex seals are rolled pretty hard.. and the casting in the chambers looks.. well.. toast..

Its a 1989 GTU Red, in pretty good exterior shape.. and EXCELLENT interior shape..

Should i just cut my loss and sell it how it is (how much is she even worth without an engine in her??

Or Swap an engine in??? (i could probably ca18det the thing for 600 bucks)

Rebuilding a n/a runs more than swapping a better power plant in... sad.

Thanks for your answers guys

I would definitly part out the car. The first step would be selling me your driver's side door handle, driver's side a-piller, and dashboard if it was in excellent shape.

then do it. i dont think ive heard of anything being a "cheap swap" unless its actually "cheap", as in, not done right.

No. It wouldnt be "cheap" i just have direct access to everything i would need (inventory wise)

i guess it would be used with in house parts on the shelf.. which would probably be expensive if we didnt have them already.
