Bosch 1600's on stock rails?

Will Bosch 1600cc's fit the stock secondary fuel rail? From what I've gathered so far they require some machining, is this correct? Any other larger capacity injectors out there that wouldn't need machining?

I've got bosch 1600's and they work fine. you will need a dremel to get them to work in it but it's not a big deal.

i just installed a set on my stock fuel rail. I had to dremel both the upper part where the grommet sits and had to grind off the rim of the "hat" on the nozzle to get them to fit. If you hold it next to a stock injector, you will see what you need to take off. I also had to double up the small o-ring that goes on the top

I know RC 1000cc injectors are drop in, not sure about their 1200cc and 1600cc injectors though

They fit fine.

I used the pintle caps off the stock injectors, because then a stock replacement o-ring will fit.

The tops need to be ground a little bit so they recess into the rail far enough. Some careful bench grinding does the trick.

Alright thanks everyone. I shouldn't have any problems using a dremel.
