Motor Mounts

So the other day I pulled my engine and saw that only one actually holds the engine in place. The motor mount on the left. The motor mount that is on the right looks like it just obsorbs engine torque. My question is...is it supposed to be like this. I mean is the engine only held in place by the left motor mount and the right motor mount is held in place by the weight of the engine and the bolt on the underbody of the car?

Absorbs engine torque? Don't worry, the other one is a mount and helps to hold the engine in place.

The passenger side motor mount should be one piece just like the driver's side mount. You can purchase polyurethane units from Chris Sanders at Banzai Racing, go get new OEM style ones at auto bone, or get a set of solid aluminum ones off of ebay. I had the same problem in my TII, but ended up salviging a stock one from a s5 N/A motor I had laying around. I also have a set of solid mounts, but have yet to install them.
