Replace the shitty original oil cooler lines, and rebuild the motor, dimpling the oil pan mating surfaces - no leaks.

My vote for most rare...a pair of 20B FC's that Mazda was messing around with before the FD was released.
Only TWO in existance that were made by Mazda for testing.

20B FC's are still pretty rare...

any more info on those?

yea what the hell is that 93 commendation model or whatever on the linked page, or is he wrong? thought the second gen was 92 tops, and the 92 models were the most rare.

Rare RX-7s? Ones with over 300,000 miles on them.

More rare? Original engine.

Most rare? An RX-7 with no oil leak...
an RX-7 with no electrical problems? NOW THAT IS RARE!
No known electrical gremlins in mine. No oil leaks either. The transmission leaks though. The exhaust too for that matter. Great, my car is going to short out and start leaking oil now.

I got to see one of those yesterday. I was working on building an addition at a public storage place. The owner of the buildind mentioned that some guy's RX-7 was parked in the way. It seemed odd that someone knew what the car was. He then told me that he had a 10th annie in a storage unit. After work He came out and took me in to see it. All original wilt 70,000 miles on it. Damn nice condition. He let it run for a few minutes as we were talking about it. The car had all of the annie stuff with it in excellent condition. If I remember right, the stereo was the factory one too.

Yes, I was refering to Factory Built US spec models for new retail sale in North America.

Not this BS of a motor swapped in some bodys back yard or shop.

And Mazda sold around 2200 of the 92 FC3C verts with Tan leather worldwide.

My 89 Vert is bone stock with 92k on it. The original engine is going away next week(oil seals are bad and it smokes real bad in the morning). It is being replaced by another N/A 13B. So I guess it is still going to be bone stock (yes even the radio)
