Id say a 1990 GTUs, only about 100. I think there were only 20 black ones, if you want to get specific. The majority of that was red and white.

And the most rare is the 90 GTUs, followed by 1995 RX-7, followed by the 10thAE, followed by the 89 GTUs.

 

I would say a turbo swapped vert. Can't be a hundred in the US

thats cool i saw a red turbo swapped vert here in NC, might have been just the T2 hood but it did have aftermarket exhaust as well.

 

Wasn't it also rumored that an s5 NA came with an LSD? I think I read it in the FAQ.

90 GTUs, then Infini's I would think Mark? But I am guessing you were only referring to american models. That and the 92 Vert with the Tan leather, I assume those are pretty damn rare.

^^^yes they do! there is a vert right next to me with a burned engine bay but all paint and body is in great condition with aftermarket bumper and 3kgt spoiler for 800. I wan't to do the turbo vert swap so bad I can taste it!

Verts all came turbo'd out side of the U.S. - they were called "Cabriolet" models.

No oil leaks?
Replace the shitty original oil cooler lines, and rebuild the motor, dimpling the oil pan mating surfaces - no leaks.

My vote for most rare...a pair of 20B FC's that Mazda was messing around with before the FD was released.
Only TWO in existance that were made by Mazda for testing.

20B FC's are still pretty rare...
