Most mileage out of rotary

Just curious on what the most mileage anyone has gotten out of their turbo or non turbo 13b motor. Mine had 87k miles and ran but the compression was at the minimum of what the service book said it should be at.
Thanks

I have ~161k miles on the engine. Many N/a's go past 200k but many don't go past 100k lol! its all in its previouse maintenance. If you keep it good and healthy it should last a long time.

I talked to a woman who was interested in having here motor re-built after it had blown. I asked her how many miles she had on it. She told me that the odometer was @230k miles but the speedometer had stopped working about 2 years ago so it probably has 250+ by now!!!! I asked her if she was the original owner she said her father was and the car was all stock. BTW it was a 1st gen 12a.

Everyone that i know, With a 89, 90, or 91 their motor has blown. They made it to 120k and blew. I have a 87 GXL and it has 180k on it... It has had ALL maint. done on it since it was bran new. so i plan on it not to blow on me for a while...*knock on wood*

I talked to a guy with a 85 at a gas station before, He had 340k on his motor, said he has had the car since it was new and he just has had problems with the waterpump and just general problems, said the motor is still solid.
Hope mine lasts that long.

It all depends on how you drive it. If you always drive it hard it wil definitely die quicker. I have 175K on mine and it seems to still be holding up well, only problems I have are external to the engine.

I bought my TII with a rebuild from Atkins Rotary and the car only has 103k, so the original went out quick...

Miles. . .

My current NA has 113K and still going strong, my 2nd NA lost compression at 190K, and, well, my first NA I sold at 55K. Two 86's and an 87.

My friend and I met a guy who owned an 86 base model FC. All original and he was the original owner since December of '85. Daily driven and had 413,xxx miles on it.

I met him about a year ago.
