s4: drivers side, on the side of the big silver thingy next to the throttle body

s5: passenger side, underneath the black intake elbow on the intake manifold

It's on the right side of the engine. Towards the front. It has a water hose attached to its side. Apporx 1/2 outside dia water hose. The plug attaches to the front/bottom of the BAC.

NO! The most frustrating thing is to change the primary injectors and put the manifold back on and try to start the car. After the second try and its starts and runs reeeeel fuuunnny, you realize right off the bat you did not install the bottom grommets on the injectors." Ahhh shucks "says I. Or something similar. The story gets worse. I screwed up on the second try when I screwed something else up. I be a Bozzo head no talent mechanic .....some days.

Since it looks like you have a TII, look for it on the top left side of the intake manifold (facing the engine from the front of the car.)

also.........its an 87 but it was on the passengers side...isnt 87 supposed to be S4? the FSM shows it being on the drivers side too, and the FSM is for an 87 rx7

On a turboii, like you name indicates, it's on the right side of the engine. On non turbo its on the left side. I assumed you had a turboii.
