Morning blues ..is it normal?

Ok I'm on the market for a FC. I wanna know if I should be wary of one that has the blues on start up. My fb used to do this for a minute but ran like a top after that. Is this normal on all rotaries? I know they burn oil to lubricate the engine. Does yours have the blues? How does it run after?

yeah that's normal... probably 90% of rotaries smoke a bit on startup.

a minute probably wouldn't be normal though - most of mine have put out a small puff at startup but that's it - 2-3 seconds at the MOST when it's cold outside.

as with every rotary, do a compression check. alittle smoke at start up is normal, but it should go away real quick
