more vac routing questions...

first, there is a vac line on the back of the UIM next to the Air supply Valve. It looks like its a 6mm hose, and I THINK it hooks up to the brake booster, but thats just because I can't figure out where that plugs in either...

heres a pic, forgive the dark cell phone pic.

the second thing-that-I-don't-know-where-it-goes is this little hard line sticking out of the firewall near where the down pipe would be if it was installed. I suspect its actually not a vac line because it has pitting on it similar to some of my other coolant hard lines. heres a pic.

and a far away one to get a better idea of where it is.

I'm really stumped, and the Haynes and FSM don't really mention these lines as far as I can tell. if I had an already assembled FC to look at this would be a lot easier lol. any help you guys could give me would be great, and thanks in advance.

I am 99% sure that the first pic is the brake booster. but the second line that comes from the firewall is still a mystery. anybody know where it goes?

In the first pic, the brake booster is the larger nipple to the right of the stack of 4. The second and third pictures... you have two AC lines coming thru the firewall to the upper left, and then the nipple to the upper right is the feed for the heater core inside the cabin. It connects to that hard line that runs along the frame rail past the downpipe, which then connects to the bottom of the radiator.

Thanks, but I already knew that the top 2 were AC lines and the heater hose was on the top right, the line in question is the small one that comes out of the fitrewall on the lower left side of the pic and makes an immediate 90 degree bend toward the passenger fender.

I got the brake booster hooked up now, thanks topless.

On that 90 degree bend line mine is just a rubber type hose that just goes straight down and does not connect to anything. Not sure if its something for the heating/cooling system or what but for 3 years mine has always been that way. No problems and car runs as it should.
