If it's the wastegate actuator, it runs from the wastegate vacuum actuator to the wastegate flapper door to control exhaust gases and eventually boost.

On the early 1986-1988 Zenki FC's, there's also a twin-scroll actuator that flips at 2,800RPM.

Either or actuator should NOT be clicking when you start your engine.

When I push more boost will I have to upgrade the stock bypass valve(bloweoff).
Consensus says the stock compressor bypass valve is good to about 10psi.

What controlls boost stock? I understand you can buy an aftermarket boost controller when you start pushing more boost but what does it from the factory?
The wastegate does the boost control directly.&nbsp On 1986-1991 Kouki FC's, there is also a boost control solenoid controlled by the stock ECU.
