Angry More SE Trouble!

Alright, I can now get the accursed engine to stay running for 10 seconds.. but to keep it running i need to hold in the choke and it stays running at 3 k for about 5 seconds then slowly ( VERY slowly!) drops to 1.5K and dies off as if the computer either cuts off fuel or spark.. did this about five times and then it didn't even want to start.. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS FRIGGIN CAR!?

Choke??

What choke, it is fuel injected, my car doesn't have a choke.

YOur intake complete? You cant run these cars without the ENTIRE intake from the air-box back. Reason is, the fuel pump will run when the key is turned to "start" but if the AFM isnt seing air flow, when the key is returned to "run" the fuel pump shuts back off..

OK.. one my fuel pump is on a switch, two there is a little vacum contralled whatever it is that's right next to the butterfly valves on the intake ( very small) ( look at your intake.. it look liek an extremely small carberator vacume choke on the left side when looking at it from the front) also yes i do have full intakefrom the box back ( just no filter right now) and to be quite frank if i ccontinue to have problems with this engine i'm either tearing it out and selling it or making it say hello to my sledge hammer the unfriendly way.... ( why does a 2jz-gte with tranny conversion seem soo.. the thing to do right now?)

Thats got nothing to do with it...unless you rewired the relay to bypass the AFM.

Thats the double throttle diaghram. Its not a choke.. Its made to block air from the upper runners at low rpms. This helps air velocity at low revs.

There has to be an explaination. Recheck your work and see if you might have missed a connector somewhere. ESPECIALLY around the AFM area.

Maybe try to run your ECU codes to see if it points you in the right direction.

But whatever you do, DONT GIVE UP! Dont let a car beat you.

what i meant by my fuel pump is on a switch is it's wired basically DIRECTLY to the battery.. also this thing has it's exhuast missing from the manifold bock.. as well as the several hoses that i got NO clue as to where they go.. however my pressure sensor is hooked up right (finally) my afm was never disconnected and it only stay running for about 10 seconds total ( sometimes a wee bit longer) only when i hold down on that thing.. if you want to know of the hoses i have no clue as to where they go.. well.. i beleive you have a vacume reservoir on the passenger side of the engine compartment. if you wanna do me a favor.. take a picture going down the intake and down the inner fender so i know where that big hose on the thing goes and where that tiny hose next to those two vacume controlled actuators go ( those aren't hooked up either.. i felt down there and no vacume lines are hooked up to them)

No wonder it wont run! It sounds like you got about 6 LARGE vacuum leaks!

If I still had my N/A, I would take pics...But I dont.

Sorry~!
