see i seem to be running into a hesitation at aroun 2500 rpm. any of you think it could be a grounding issue with the safc unit itself? or are my engine settings not right and the map is all different

please feel free to comment even if your not sure

strange, i have a hesitation at 2500. i also get them at 2000-2200 or 2800. thay arent ALWAYS there, but i feel it all the time. i have a 6 port, stock ecu, streetported with removed and _slightly_ ported aux ports. i wasn't sure if it was a factory tuning issue (combated with my mods) or what. thats just what i assumed. bit of the ol' "low speed bucking" woes.

actually, if youre bored, run a search on "low speed bucking."

well thats not what i worried about cuz i think it has something to do with the safc, but i need thoughs diagrams.

its going to be something like up, down, down,up, down, etc. there are ten of the lil switches on the back.

some has them i know cuz they gave me a 13 rew one i just need the 13bt one (if the flow map is different)

have you guys never seen the first gen apexi safc? The front face has 5 dials on it. He just needs to know what the dipswitch settings are on the back that will work with the 13b. We found the setting for the 13bREW, but aren't sure if they will work with the 13b

I glanced at the instructions on that APEXI site .....and I don't see any reason it won't work on your car. Just make sure you have it going to the afm instead of the pressure sensor. Look at the fsm schematics for the pinout of your gen car/engine instead of the manual/instructions you have for a rew. Or the pinout included in the second gen APEXI.

skatingsamurai here. ok well i have it set at that but when ever i hit boost in any gear, it hits a freakin wall. the lower the gear the more savere the hesitation is.
Q does a hesitation mean it getting lean? or rich?
