Question More questions about TII water hose

Thanks for all your info, but I have more questions about the water hose under the intake. Can the nipple in the engine be replaced? This one has a lot of holes in it. Has onyone changed this before that could give me a little advice on doing it?

well... I drilled the C*&%^sucker out and then tapped the housing and inserted a short bolt into it with some JB weld on the threads and sealed the bitch off.......

BUT.. you COULD, cut it off level and then drill it out and press a new one in... but.. like William Shater used to say in the old Priceline commercials ... "Why???"

It is a steel tube press fit in the iron housing, then bonded with years of corrosion.

I you’re installing a new fitting, here’s your chance to use an “L” so you can use a standard hose instead of the custom one.

You won't find that metal tube in the parts fische. It's part and parcel of the rear housing.

The L-shaped hose is a standard hose, cheaply and easily available from any Mazda dealer or Mazdatrix.
