I dont think youll need a haltech since your car is stock. If you had a long list of modifications a haltech would be a good idea. As for info there are many websites you can SEARCH to find the info you need. Haltechs are also VERY expensive have you know.

I just bought the car in arizona. I really dont know what he has done for maintnance on the car. But i would really appreciate if oyu would tell me what the yare so that i can get started on it. I have about 8 grand to spend on the car. I havent done a compression on the car. But i was wondering if I could put rotors from a 91 Turbo II for higher compression and put lots of boost on it. thanks for relies by the way.

Start by getting a Good compression test done
If its GOOD
Perform the Mazda 60K maintenance
Replace all your coolant hoses and then start to mod.
Do lots of searches you'll be amazed.
Ask 13BACE what he would do different

I believe you can put the s5 rotors in an s4 but you need the s5 counterweights and something else i think. Not real sure about it though...

Hey Turbo II, how well does the EMS work for you? Any downfalls as compared to a haltech or the sort? Can you remove your AFM? Thanks.

theres about a $2000 difference in price w/the sds and the haltech. (you get my point) i really dont know what it can do, i just installed it a couple nights ago and my car isnt running right now because of a oil cooler line leak. i found the sds at a junkyard and just bought it for like $100. just worth a shot trying it and buying a new one if it works out well. thats y i still have my fcd because i dont trust that system yet.
