more fun with hoses!

ok, I still need to know what this stuff is. I took pictures since I don't think I was doing a great job explaining what the things I was curious about were. Hope this picture thing works out ok for me....

So, where do those two hoses go to? Do I need them? Are they part of the air intake? Someone please let me know?

So, this is my broken hose on my intercooler. What should be there, what does it do, and can that be fixed or can I just seal it up? Again, help please! And what should that T be hooked up to?

Ok, these are the lines from under the oil filler neck. I don't think these are the ones I was told to vent to a drip can are they? Where should these go and what are they for. Can I cap them off? Would my life be easier to just kill emissions on this engine? I don't have to pass any tests here and my car is a 90 so it has no cat and doesn't need one...Can I just cap off that spot on the block where that pipe went down to the cat when it had one?

Sorry this turned out crappy but that white thing is the oil filter. There are three lines coming out of there, sort of between the oil filter and that emissions stuff. What are they? I know two of them should be for fuel, my NA engine only had two and that was where they were. I can only therefore figure out what to do with two of them. It's like two are on the bottem and one comes up in between them over top. Any thoughts?

And I have one thing on the back of the block, sorry I don't have a picture, that's capped off from the company I bought the engine from. It's like a vacuum line but they took the time to stick a bolt down it so I'm thinking it might be fuel related too but I'm not sure.

I got a week to get this car running so please help me out anyone who can. I know I'm asking a lot but I got nothin!

Ok - lets see how much I've learned from reading all these posts...

top picture - the top hose is EGR I think and I don't know about the other. You need those.

second picture - that's the bypass valve setup. The hose with the T is for the pressure sensor and doubles as the trigger for your BOV/bypass valve. You don't need it, but it would be silly to run without it for street use.

third picture - not a clue

first pic.

one is for the stock boost controller, one is emmissions vent. both should go into the TID.

2nd pic is BOV. you'll need to replace that pipe. and find a BOV and the piping if you don't have them... the other end also goes to the TID.

one T goes to the BOV and one to the pressure sensor

3rd pic is stock boost controller lines. they go onto that pink thing right behind it.

need a better pic of # 4. might be fuel line?

what is a TID? Please excuse my ignorance. I searched for TID but all that comes up is people asking questions about it but they already know what it is. I need to know if I already have one of those or if this is something I'm going to need to find.

Those lines in 3 should go into the pink thing? Can't check it out till tuesday but I didn't think there was anything disconnected from the pink thing.

So the broken part is going to have to be replaced? Can I do that with an aftermarket blow off valve?

Thanks for the help, and I hope someone can offer me more insite!

Thanks again.

ah, makes sense. I've been looking for one of those. If you go aftermarket cold air from the start what do you do with those things?

There are no aftermarket cold air ducts, but that doesn't matter because the TID goes after the airflow meter. A cold air duct feeds the filter before the airflow meter.
