Angry more fuel advice....sigh....

ok, i don't want any ideas for haltech or wolf, im not looking for insane power....I have a 89GTX, and i would just like possibly 275 horses....actually somewhere inbetween 250 and 275...

All I want to do is get an intake, and a full exhaust (dp, mp)
with a full exhaust and intake running 8,9,10psi? regulated, that should put me close to 250? hp which is all i want....I know I don't need a over 1000 stand alone fuel management for this....

I got a guy who is looking to get rid of their super afc for 200 dollars....with a super-afc/fcd/ and a walboro fuel pump? will that be sufficient... or is there a better way to go about it??? But Im not doing any more mods except for full exhaust and intake...and with a boost controller , I dont plan on running it past 10psi, I will probably run it at 8 or 9 psi.

watcha think?

Thats exactly the setup that I have. I think that is perfect, but people said that it is a little excessive. Yes it will more than take care of your fuel needs. And the S-AFC has some pretty cool **** that I am learning about.

GT-X, now this is the model that makes 212hp right?? get a racing beat turbo back exhaust, and a good intake, you should be close to 275 right there

ya untill it goes pop...

full exhaust, intake, fcd, rewired bigger fuel pump should be good for 10psi. I don't think it'll make 275... max 250.

and my dam webpage is down so mine and live4boost sigs aren't working

damn Im back to the little box with a square in it. Well pick up that S-AFC if its in good shape that is a good deal. I paid retail for a new one and when I got it there were some scratches, then my altenator fell on it b4 it was even installed. That prob doesn't make sense but oh well. Hope the site is up soon.
Scott are you the one that told me about wireing the S-AFC to the 02 sensor to the ECU? Do that when you get it goodspeed. it can be useful if your 02 sensor is good.

the web page goes down every now and then. usaly not more then a few hours. it was woking a couble hours ago. I only pay $8cnd a month for hosting so you can't expect it to be perfect

well racing beat says on a stock 87t2, adding the exhaust put the boost at 10-11.5psi, since the 89-91 runs higher boost anyways it might be higher, dont know

nope. the 89-91 will run about the same since the waste gate is better. I removed the stock boost controler from my 89 so I was only running 5 psi before I put the full racing beat on. now with stock air box I get 5psi in 1st and 2nd. and very slowly creeps to 8-9 in 3rd-5th. once I get some time when I get back next week (going away!!) I'll start playing with my manual boost controler to get 9 or so in every gear. I'm not sure if by giving myself 9 in 2nd and 3rd if it will creep more in 4th and 5th. I don't want to run over 10 so... we'll see what happens. it creeped over 10 with a k&n cone on so I pulled that off.

It tells you the pressure in %, and Im not sure if you can get a real exact psi reading.

Flywheel or rear wheel horsepower?

No way a stock turbo can produce numbers like that (flywheel) unless you boost to 15psi.

A compressor upgrade can help in your case, and I'd recommend it.

You'll still need to run a tad higher boost than you mentioned (12psi), but it should nail those numbers (flywheel) no problem.

Have enough fuel, and your engine will be happy.
