More 87 T2 restoration pics

first here is one of my nasty garage,,you can clearly see two 13b engines on the floor

now here is one of the rear hatch area,,it is preped for paint,,which will be going on tommorrow

And finally for tonight anyway,,an updated pic of the engine bay,,for those who saw it already it looked pretty plain,,i put some of teh stuff back in and it looks much better,,i know what would look better in there though,,,an engine,,if you look carfully you can see the FCD hanging under the pressure sensor on the passenger side inerfender

I will post a some more pics of the rocker panel replacement and the rusty floor fix ect when those parts are further under way,,and also a final pic of the rear hatch area

now honestly am i over killing it,,you all get the idea or is there some out there that find this info rather helpfull in their own projects,,,cause really that is why i am so heavily documenting this

let me know what you guys think

No! keep documenting! i find it helpful
I will be doing the same exact thing in May when i get home from school.
Ive got my 87TII sitting in driveway at home and the engine is in the garage.
I'll be painting it and restoring it a little. Have not decided what to do about the motor yet, because it still hasnt been taken apart. I'll probably build some frankenstein engine.
Let us know how things go with yours though, I was considering documenting some of the stuff I do too.

Are you painting yourself? Just curious if you've found away around all those stupid health / inhalation concers.

Did you find a way to avoid painting the garage as well?

I'd love to do a repaint of my engine bay as well

yes i do all the painting, body and engine work myself,

and i use a high volume low pressure gun,,so it keeps down on overspray and wasted material,,in general it keeps alot of the fumes down to a minimum,,,,but i do wear a paint mask too,,,the clear coat is some nasty ****,,one good inhail of that and you will be cughing for days,,and prolonged exposure WILL kill you.
