I bought the car and the moonroof didnt work.. The motor is good and it spins its the track that seems to be broken. Is there anyway to repair that if it is broken? I tried turning it by hand and it doesnt move like it should, which leads me to believe the track is shot..


Any suggestions?

 

The motor operates cables that move the Sunroof back and forth on the tracks,.
They are tedious to get off and Replace.
My suggestion is to just get another Sunroof Skeleton,Used.It is alot easier to install and no Friggin around with cables,tracks,lube etc.
You can post a WTB(wanting to Buy) Thread on the Sec GEN Parts For Sale Section,or try a more Local approach and post in the Regional section that you live in.(like western or Eastern..)
