Quiet with power.... only pre-made option for quiet is: Racing beat full system. Other than that, look to have something made up.

Test your VDI and 6port actuators. That was a problem with mine and was why my car wasn't quick to 8k.

Look at the Racing beat dual system...its supposed to be the most quiet and will still give you some power gain.

cut out the cat's and stick some glasspacks way at the end, sounds killer and it's not too loud, and it flows damn good, not to mention it's cheap!

Can't speak for dre_2ooo, but I think it's the wording not the subject! Your mom's exhaust might sound like a personal problem that most moms wouldn't share with their son!

I have a 91 vert that needs a complete exhaust. What's in there now is patched together poorly. Couldn't pass emissions - don't know if the exhaust is the problem or not. The current system is Midas variety I am sure.

Racing Beat seems to be the acknowledged performance/value leader. I am not sure if a downpipe and a high-flow cat to replace my three cats will pass emissions. Anyone have any thoughts?

There is a deal out there on a turbo cat for 2nd gens. Does anyone know how compatible an original equipment turbo cat would be with an n/a?

Greddy is a little bit more pricey, but VERY quiet. Just giving you another option.

if she wants a single go apexi or hks makes a nice duel but if i were he cause she wants more power go with a rb header and presilencer and then the catback. BTW do you have a pic of your mom i been looking for a woman who likes rx7's

"rb header and presilencer and then the catback. BTW do you have a pic of your mom i been looking for a woman who likes rx7's"

The dude and his mother live in Utah, better than 50/50 chance their Morman. Won't convert for any woman, even if she loves 7's! No disrespect intended to Mormans or 7's. As I understand it, they have a great respect for family so hopefully Dad is still in the picture.

Stupid question won't suprise you now - is a header the downpipe and does a silencer have any emission control properties. I am sure he loves his mom, but I don't know if he wants to change her exhaust for emission testing if Utah has them.

I am anxious to make a decision regarding "my exhaust", please advise. Thanks

rotaryracer1 - "My mom is the ****"?. Considering the title of the thread, maybe "the bomb" would have been less "inflammatory". (Get it?)

If your Mom's tranny is an auto then it's close to hopeless. You'll measure acceleration with a calendar.
As for exhaust. Get the Bonez superflow cat setup and then the RB cat back. I noticed the biggest pop in power and throttle response after the high flo cat went on. It's nothing money won't solve.

I got my borla from summit racing. they were the least expensive place for a borla, and less than racing beat.

with the top down it is great. with the top up it is a little throaty at about 3k, but it isnt very offensive.

best part is it is stainless, and i live near the ocean.

I just got an RB for my S5. Just make sure your mom is not opposed to it "smelling" really bad.

Seriously though, it does stink.

Dude, MILF has been around for years... As for a subtle clue, go rent American Pie.

I think I will have to change my screen name to "Stifler" now...
