modifying NPR intercooler
would it be worth my time and effort to modify a izuzu NPR intercooler for a v-mount setup? i have the fabication skills and mat. to do it im just wondering if anyone know the max HP a npr intercooler can handle? i plan on using it for a custom set-up including a set of garrett t-3 turbos so i would have to mod the end tank on one side for 2 inlets. any help is great.
Core dimensions: 19.75" x 14.5" x 2" w/ 2.5" I/O
thanks

the core on my Greddy 3 row kit, which I think is the largest they make for our cars, is ~ 26 * 12 * 3 = 936 cubic inches , with 2.75" end tanks
yours is ~ 573 cubic inches . I don't know if that really means anything, but it may help for comparison's sake. If you are going for that twin setup it may be too small if you are planning on making some big numbers... I think Howard Coleman, who has an FD, is running custom 60-1 twins in parallel. You may want to PM him.
