and for all the posters/bosters who don't fit into the vert or GTUs hood catagory, and who keep saying "hey I have an aluminum hood too" congrats, but understand that you lucked out (or someone swapped hoods) and not the norm.

I have an 88 Base Model, 2-seater, 5-speed, aluminum hood; and I've worked on two others, both 86s, same deal.

Of course you need to remember many people confuse the base models with the SE and Luxury coupes as well (since both of those also had the 4 lug wheels)
