Moded 88 GTU vs moded 00' Civic Si

well the other day i raced a 00 Civic Si (vtec) 2/3 runs, and lost 2 times (very bad start both times) last race tied, i had a decent start, we only got upto 55-60 or so, i only have i/h/e, he has i/h/e power pulleys, AEM fuel rail, Venom Injectors. but he is getting cams and cam gears, but next time i want to run away from him, what should i do? i have these mods in mind

1. Remove 6port sleeves
2. Ported 89 intake manifold
3. Removing A/C
4. Redline oil in tranny and diff (more hp to the ground)
5. Putting my e-fan and UD Pulley on
6. ACT Clutch, 9lb Flywheel
7. Crane Hi-6
8. G-Force ECU will help?
9. wait for Agent_D's cold ram air

think thats enough?

the light flywheel will hurt you in a drag race...

Get rid of some weight.

The Redline oil in the tranny will make shifting easier. This is great in tranny's that are older and in need of a rebuild. It hides problems so you can go longer without rebuilding your tranny.

As for the Diff, since it is a 88GTU, if I'm not mistaken, it has an LSD diff. The Redline fluid will make the rear run smoother and make the LSD act as it should. It would also lower temps back there.

As far as HP with either of these? I doubt it. Maybe 1/4HP in friction reduction.

Throw in a 50 shot of NOS =)
