Modding For Mustang Race

i have just picked up a $300 1988 SE (bad apex seals n/t and auto ) i have it rebuilt it has j-ported (monster) intake and bridge ported exhaust i am just looking to walk over some 350hp transams and cobras but for now i just want to beat a friends gt and show some rotary power would this be enough to beat a factory 97 4.6 gt
haltech,1000 primary ,1300 secondary ,t66 set up,3" full exhaust,no ac,t2 trans,4.3 r&p and bigger fuel pump. the seals i have in now hold up to 40psi i know 7s have bad tq would it be safe to run like 12-17psi and a small shot of spray i will be open for any opinions yall have on parts this is my 1st 7 and in a wile i will be giving away most of my ac parts away free just let me know what ya need in a few weeks
btw i have also done the electronic 5/6 port mod and dual pulley just hope it dont take more than 2 years to get it modded like i want

That is one long run-on sentence.

If you're looking to build a monster, why not pick up a rolling t2 chassis, it would save you a lot of headaches.

Uh, they won't have a chance...
You're talking about a 500hp monster WITHOUT the NOS.

Are you swapping in a TII engine or have you? I just don't understand the aux. ports if you have. Or are you trying to put a t66 on an NA motor? Or is this just want you want "one day"?

Dude, I hate desktop racers. Sorry, McFrost, but if you wanted to beat a 97 GT soon, why not buy an FD? Lucky for you the 97 4.6s were pretty much the slowest GTs ever made. You can throw whatever you want at your car, but you started with a poor foundation. You want to port, turbo, AND NO2 on an automatic NA? How much money do you think you're gonna end-up spending? Sheesh... Just buy a Mustang, dude. FCs are not drag cars.

fcs are what you make them pj and some folks just dont have the cash to pay for a fd. i have the engine buil to where i can put a turbo on with out trouble and i will not be running a auto i will have the 4.3 rear and t2 trans i am sure the sludgepump i have now would not last 5mins seeing that is has 130k miles on it with that setup the engine work is done. the drivetrain work will be done by the end of oct and will have to save for the rest

car = 300
engine rebuild & port = 800
trans = 700
setup = less than 5k

no show me a late model mustang less than 7k that is a "500hp monster" and i would see your point

gsracer i was looking for one but could not find one any where that i could afford.me and guch over at guches motorsports talked about what i wanted done he said it was possible and he would rebuild the engine so i could run a turbo on the na and did the porting work

so i am adding a turbo to a n/a engine that was rebuilt for turbo
i am adding a new 5spd and not running a auto
and thanks for the reply ted , ride or die and gsracer
and pj i get your point the only thing is they dont have many other tracks down here but drag and dirt track that would be some **** to have a rotary dirttracker just would like a yes or no if ya could
