Modding broken s5 tps with s4 narrow tps

So in the pursuit of trying to get my boys vert going again I've narrowed it done to a few vac leaks and a faulty narrow band on the s5 tps . Well trying to help a friend in need with no funds really ( new born boy ) I'm trying to make it happen . I my self just did a s5 tb and tps swap on my setup for my haltech and have my stock s4 narrow band tps . Can I swap the s5 narrow with the s4 I have . I feel like I've read back in the day it can just got to get them off the mounts . The reason the s5 is bad is the previous owner back probed at the sensor not at the connector so I can fix were the break is smh .

I've heard and read of it being done but personally never have done it.
But what have you got to lose by trying it....right?

The sensor is just held onto the bracket with metal tabs. You can bend those tabs straight and it will slide right off.

I have S5 turbo sensors on my NA bracket, it was super easy.

yes, i have sold a few S4 sensors that i patched in from S5 cars due to faulty wide range sensors on those, so the reverse is also capable of being done.

you do have to pay attention to the wiring, since the wire colors are not the same. remounting them is as easy as bending 2 small tabs.
