Update:

As I stated before, Ross from MMR gave me a choice of upgraded beefier camber adjusters or a full refund. I thought about it for a few days and decided I will run the stock links for now and take his offer for a full refund. I sent them back today.

I really appreciate how he handled the situation about these links regardless of how long ago I purchased them (early this year, even though I didn't even have the car assembled during that time and only have been driving it recently). At least he did not point the blame on me like some other companies may have and left me with $120 paper weights...

I most likely will be designing some camber adjusters that suite my needs better since I already have an idea floating in my head. I may make a few extra ones in case anyone is interested, but that will come in the near future.

That's bunk. Heim / Spherical joints wear out just like all other types of joints...

If well made, maybe not as quickly but just the same they will wear out.

I've been running MMR links for a few months now, they never made a sound. They seem to be holding up just fine, but I haven't hit auto-x w/ the Azenis yet.....

I don't foresee any problems but I'll keep you in mind if something unfortunate happens.

And hopefully it won't take as long to get your refund as it took for me to get my parts

You are right, they may develop slop over a series of years, but remember these joints do not articulate very much.

Have you seen how much Mazdatrix wants for a rebuild kit for the AWR/Mazdatrix adjusters? It is like $50 a side. You can get 2 high quality heims to rebuild the MMR pieces for under $50

Last update:

Received full refund from MMR. Again just want to emphasize they do have good products (still running DTSS and spherical LCA bushings), just that these adjusters didn't work out for me.

The whole return/refund process took less than a week and I am very happy with the way everything got handled. Hopefully in the future the company may offer better services or at least this incident may help them re-design the camber adjusters in the future. I checked out all the rear suspension today, everything is snug. My guess is I just somehow loaded the camber adjuster past it's designed load capacity during the autocross. Daily driving was fine.

From what I can tell, the threaded rod is too thin and failed in shear (side loaded force). Stock links do not have the problem.

Could there be sumthing that is causing to much lateral force, or is it just a flawed design on MMR's part?

I have a question for everyone who has snapped the adjusters before and those of you that haven't.

Were/are you running spherical control arm bushings or the stock control arm bushing?

I have a theory, but will see in the replies...

Me too. I attributed it to corrosion at the thread root.

My own $.02 on the broken MMR one...the rubbing probably caused the threaded bit to take a bending load it was never designed for. Also it is a much narrower threaded bit than the AWR design.

No breakage yet on mine, using stock trailing arm bushings, 2,000 very hard miles.

I do have mine adjusted very short (i.e. to minimize negative camber) and I was careful to install them with the spacers on correctly and lubricate the assembly so it can move freely in the subframe.

left side would brake more because thats where the subframe link is

i have these adjusters too, but haven't bothers using them yet because the negative camber helps with wheel fitment :P

theoretically they should be taking any load sideways at all but every car is different.

http://www.rhdjapan.com/super-now-ca...-50168?nflag=1

you can get thoses if these others links anr't working out for you~~~

Slightly off topic.
Do the factory Camber links need to be longer or shorter to reduce the neg. camber?
I assume shorter from the comment from soloII...

to reduce camber they must be shorter...
i also think that an aftermarket lateral link might be the reason why they snap...
i have one. i don't see one installed in the pics the guys that have snapped their camber links have one... i think that if the stock longer lateral link is still on it creates some sort of stress on the camber links, for the subframe is being pushed out to far from the body and the links are actually the ones that soak it all up, hold the arms, that my theory...
